Fully Backup for Solution manager 7.1

Hello All :-) ,

I need to take a full backup for solution manager 7.1 and for SQL server 2008 R2 , so please advice me for the right way and the required procedure to take it and how to make recovery for it because unfortunately this is the first time that i`ll take backup and I don't have a previous experience in it !

and is it the same with taking backup for ECC 6.0 EHP 5 ?

      Hello Jai ,

      Thank you for your valuable answer but what i have understand that i can make database backup from t-code " DB13 " instead of the backup in SQL Server , I am right or not ???

      also i need to ask if there is another backup procedure for solution manager , or i need to take copy of path " <sap drive>\usr\sap\... ????
