Unable to transport ODM data area enhancements

Hi Experts,

As a part of ASN web UI and ODM layer enhancement, I had enhanced the ODM data component DLH1 (Delivery Header Extension) and its associated data area /1OM/DELVDLH1300 with the additional fields. I am aware of the fact that these tables are named different in different clients, with the last 3 characters signifying the client in which the table was generated in this case it is client 300.

Post successful testing in the dev system I want to move the enhancement to the Quality System. During these DDIC enhancements, I was never prompted to assign a package, thereby no TR got assigned to the enhenacements and these enhancements stayed local. I have tried to manually assign TR to these enhancements, however I keep on getting the following error message -

Is there an alternative way to get it transported to Quality?

Quick update -

Just found out that this issue is because the ODM data component/area enhancements are not transportable in any Z-namespace TR because they belong to a different namspace.

The DDIC table in my case is /1OM/DELVDLH1300 -

i.e.

<namespace><ODM data area><ODM data component><SAP SCM client>

<namespace>                          - /1OM/

<ODM data area> -                   - DELV

<ODM data component>           - DLH1

<SAP SCM client>                   - 300

now the question is will the system allow me to create a package in /1OM/ namespace?

Tried creating a subpackage under the existing development package in /1OM/ namespace.

I got an error message when trying to assign Transport Request to the subpackage.

Is there any alternative way to get this transported?

This is now resolved.

After transporting the custom enhancements (ODM metadata structures for e.g. /SCMB/DM_DLV_HDR_STR ) which contains the custom fields, activate/regenerate the ASN related ODM components, data area & data type in the QA system.

The ODM tables/data area will be regenerated with the custom fields in place.
