Use of 'Net Weight' for Planning in APO

Hi All,

We have a specific requirement in which we want to use 'Net weight' in the Sales order for planning in APO rather than 'Schedule Line Order Qty' . Can someone please guide on how to do this.

This requirement cannot be met using standard APO.   Planning in general is performed using quantities stated in terms of the Base Unit of Measure, which is unrelated to 'Net Weight'.  You will have to use one or more enhancements.

Your statement about how you believe the system should behave is not detailed enough to suggest how the solution should be approached.  And no, I am not requesting more details.  You should present this information to the consultant who will execute this project for you.

Hi Rock,

                 Why don't you maintain UOM(base and sales) in weight rather that qunatities and use alternative measure for quantities. You can generate RICEFS/BI to get information in quantities.
