Goods Issue to Work Center

Dear All,

We want to do goods issue to work center without PM module. Please let me know if this can be done.

Is there a possibility to bring the "work Center" field in the MIGO screen for a specific movement type.

Is there any work around for this.

Hi

As per your requirement there needs to add one more thing. You need to create cost center through T code ks01 or ksh1. Then you can link this cost center to your work center.

Then after you can issue goods to cost center which is linked to work center through T code MB1A using movement type 201 " material issue to cost center "

Following will be impacts of this circle.

1. Material will be consumed against that cost center.

2. Cost of material will hit to cost center from where you see the report S_ALR_87013611.

Hi,

There is a field called "equipment" in MIGO screen. We have created a "equipment master" and assigned in MIGO while doing good issue to cost center and it saved successfully!!

But after saving the EQUNR filed is not getting updated in MSEG table. Is there anything that I'm missing or is this a standard function. I tried to add this field in MB51 reporting in SPRO there the field got added but both the selection and output options got grayed out.

Any solution for this.

Hi All,

In case if anyone have the same issue, Please find the reply from SAP on this issue

As I stated in my previous reply, MSEG-EQUNR is not updated in

Standard SAP R/3.

If you would like to hide this field so that it is no longer available

in MIGO, please, run the customzing transaction OMJX, scroll down to

locate the field GOITEM-EQUNR, set it to 'Hide' and save your changes.

This will remove the 'Equipment' field in transaction MIGO.

I am afraid I must confirm that this is the system standard behaviour.

Please kindly review the answer offered by our Development Department

for your reference.

"It is no software defect that there is no update of MSEG-EQUNR.

This field exists because of compatibility of the R/2 structures.

In R/2 it was possible to move only one equipment via MM and that´s

the cause why there it could be stored in MSEG.

In R/3 many serial numbers could be transferred by one document item. The relevant data are stored in SER03 and OBJK."
