Projection factor wage type value wrong.

Hi,

While generation of projection factor coming 1 month less in each subsequent month.

I was trying with IT0003 change.

Payroll result deleted for April month and again processing.

What could be reason. If change through PCR again next year any issue will come so, that i am trying to route cause.

Hi Nagendra,

When you run payroll for April, the project factor come as 11 months in payroll results, its prettry much standard process. Tax calculated for current month + projection months in payroll process.

Hi,

In SAP standard will come as 11 in the month of April (Mentioned earlier post like reducing one month subsequent). I am asking what would be reasons its coming as 10 in the month of April.

FYI: IN Quality its coming correctly, In PRD only wrong . (Its rollout project, Quality only for India, PRD for Global. I assumed Other Company code configuration effecting like Fiscal year variant etc..same like reasons if any..so that i can rectify the issue)

Hi

The projection period is read from the table view V_T54C0 to compute projection months from current month to next tax year begin of the month - 1 . The projection factor calculation happens in INN0 rule

Please check whether the employee has any future dated termination or inactive records(IT0000 & IT0041), in that case tax projects till termination date.

Projection factor months are computed in the program "pop_proj_factor(PCINIIN0)", please take technical team help to debug the form while processing the payroll.

As what said by Whiterays Please check the T54C0 in production , check which month is there as the first period of the financial year as well.

If you are in India payroll , please check switch 40AY is activated ( go to and check it PC00_M40_SWCH, due to  note  1689433 Alternate financial year (AFY) switch active by default , this switch is activating )
