DI API Compatibility 8.81 8.82

Hello,

We have developed many solutions for a customer under SAP 8.81 now the customer will upgrade to 8.82 version. I need to know if it's necessary to rebuild the developments using SAP 8.82?

Is the DI API 8.81 compatible with SAP 8.82?

Hi Boukhris,

You should be ok with the addon's. I used an addon with DI API from 2007 and it worked. Although there might be small adjustments you might need to do (new field added by SAP that might be on top of field added by your addon).

The DI API will adopt it self even they upgrade or downgrade their SAP.
