Importance of work scheduling view.....??????

Can any one tell, why work scheduling view is mandatory for finished & semi-finished materail ?As we are maintaining production related data in work center & routing..

Did you give a thought to where you gonna maintian the material specific production related data for them materials?

Hello,

As you said for REM manufac Work Scheduling view is not important, So I cannot able to assign the Production scheduler and Prod Scheduling profile. Then how will system do the creation or release of prod order or to trigger any automatic GR etc..

Thats the reason, In std SAP, Workscheuling view is mandatory for inhouse production material, its not a best practise to change the error message to warning message

Hello Maneesh,

Search SDN for this thread... but the most inportant thing what is required for FERT/HALB products (In-house manufactured) is Production Scheduling Profile, which we maintain in Work Scheduling View.

There are lot of things which are linked to Prod Sch profile and hence its imp..
