Thanks for the reply.

It seems like the document was on 2009.

But as on date will SAP work on the Linux or ubuntu.

Kindly let me know for the two OS mentioned above.....

Hi Shyam,

B1 application is developed on Windows platform. It is not supported by those 2 OS your mentioned and may never be supported there in the foreseeable future.

please check the 'Supported Platforms' on the smp:

service.sap.com-> SAP Business One Customer Portal -> Solution Overview -> Solution Details -> expand the 8.8 release family & under 'Details' is a link to 'Supported Platforms'.
