Infospoke selection

Former Member

Hello Experts,

In the production system whenever I create an infospoke and activate it, I am not able to edit my selection criteria. But the same problem doesn't exist in development system, i.e. even after activating it, I am able to edit the selection criteria. Its a hassle to request Basis folks to open it all the time.

It gives the following message:

(Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted)

Thanks,

Nikki

Hi Nikki,

Try to maintain the following: In RSA1 > Transport Connection > Object Changeability > For InfoSpoke make it Everything Changeable.

Hope this helps...

Do this in your production system.

Hello Gupta/Robert,

Quick replies and the path seemed right but it doesn't work. "Changeable Original" doesn't work and even "everything changeable" doesn't work in the production system.

So is there an other way.

Thanks a lot,

Nikki

Nikki,

Can you also check this property for the Open Hub Destination (in the same place)...

Yes Bhanu,

I checked both infospoke and open hub destination and changed both to 'change everything' but still doesn't work.

Let me know,

Thanks,

Hi Nikki!

I think I found something useful

Read OSS Note 337950 'Queries (and other objects) cannot be edited'...

If you are in the described scenario and your settings don't work (but keep in mind the recommendation: you have to pay attention if you import (again) your spoke from dev cause everything will be overwritten...), you can open an OSS Message or directly create your spoke in PRD !!!

Hope it helps!

Bye,

Roberto

Nikki,

I don't have a system to check right now...but try to take a look to the object changeability in Transport Connection in RSA1 to verify if you can set Infospoke out of your general non-changes rule to the customizing in PRD !

Bye,

Roberto
