Error with Easy Cost Planning

Hello Experts,

While using ECP in project builder I got the following error:

"You have not assigned a CO version to controlling area 1000

Message no. KPN083"

Kindly suggest the way to remove this error.

Thanks & Regards

Ankur

    Hi Ankur,

Please check if you have maintained following config:

SPRO>PS>Costs>Planned Costs>Easy Cost Planning>Define CO Versions for Easy Cost Planning

    Regards

To add further, ECP is generally done for complex projects at WBS level as initial estimation or preliminary estimation & then network costing is carried out. N/w costing takes place in version 000 so to avoid merging these two costs ECP is carried out in separate version. As you have maintained no separate version for ECP you are getting this problem.
