Eliminations for profitcenter dimension

Hello,

My client has a requirement where for Balancesheet they want to do eliminations in account dimension, for P&L they want to do it in profitcenter dimension. I can write custom script logic, but does anyone else know of an "out of box" better way?

Thanks.

Eliminations occur at the Entity, (is the profit center defined as an entity?). (I'm not an accountant but I would question doing this differently.) Drill down further into the requirements and you should discover this is what the client needs.

You should study the SAP How to guides "Intercompany Eliminations" and "US Eliminations".

    Hi Zack,

I've seen customers perform Entity driven eliminations (Type E dimension) and also Profit Center dimension driven eliminations (Type U - user defined).

We used the common parent elimination function (CPE) available in the BPC MS script logic engine.

Please review the following help guide for further information:

    Performing Intercompany Eliminations

Also look at the ICElimWithCurr.LGL logic library file in your "..\SystemLibrary\Logic Library\" folder

    Thanks,

    John
