Analysis Auth not modifiable in Q (BW 7.3)

Hi All,

We are currently doing a SAP BW 7.3 implementation (and) noticed that Analysis Authorizations are Not Modifiable in Q system:

When we try to change it in RSECADMIN, we get the message "Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted"

Normally as we all know, the client settings are closed in Q system.

In 7.0, we were able to do it, but in 7.3 this is blocked.

This ability is needed in Q, else it would be a nightmare while troubleshooting issues.

Anyone has any idea/experience on this topic?

Any workarounds? (w/o having to change the Client Settings).

Hi Chaitanya,

We had the same problem, check the following note to fix.

1630584 - Analysis Authorization not changable in closed client
