Hello All,
I am testing the Broadcaster functionality using a Workbook and created a setting for the same. When I try to execute the Broadcaster, I get the an error message of which I've provided an extract below.
Unresolved exception occurred on the precalculation server
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800 0A03EC): Microsoft Excel cannot access the file 'C
\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW\BE ExAnalyzer.xla'. There are several possible reason
:
• The file name or path does not exist.
• The file is being used by another program.
• The workbook you are trying to save has the same
name as a currently open workbook.
As you can observe, the file name BExAnalyzer.xla has been incorrectly spelled as BE ExAnalyzer.xla. Can you please let me know as to where this setting exists so that I can modify the filename to resolve this issue?
Thanks.
Hi Ram,
this is could be because of incompatibility between the BW version and the Microsoft Excel version. As a first check you can verify the versions and the macros used in the MS Excel then get assistance from your technical/basis team to fix the issue. I believe your precalculation servers are running fine, you can check whether their status is up and running in RSPRECADMIN. Try to get the SAP BEx analyzer patches removed and installed again this should help resolving the issue.
