Delivery quantity is greater than target quantity 3 EA Message no. VL363

Hi All,

I am getting the above error message when I try doing picking(No WM required) in both VL01N and VL02N. On searching for 2 notes, 839375 & 843865, both obselete with regards to ECC 6.0 and I am working on ECC 6.0 system.

Can someone suggest as how to rectify this in ECC 6.0 system?

When warehouse is not activated, then why dont you deactivate Picking tab in ovlp??

Issue here is, this had been working for quite a long time and all of a sudden we are getting this error. Still more peculiar is the fact that this issue occurs only when the first line item has more quantity than the second line in the delivery. It is not happening when it is vice versa.

you are talking about "target quantity" and not "delivery or picked quantity". What is the reference document for the creation of the deliveries?

In my opion if picking could be beneficial even if Warehouse is deactivated.

Picking is basically from Plant, St location. With activation of warehouse, then from wh and storage bin.

Would you please explain further?

Note - t code is 0vlp and not ovlp (zero and not o)
