Hi All,

I am trying to post an entry in t.coder MB1B, i am getting a the above error.

Can anyone kindly help me or give me some inputs to resolve the above issue.

Error:

vendor is not defined for company 0400 and posting is not allowed for profit center xxxxxx as on 02/05/2012

Hi Venkatesh,

Extend the Vendor at the required company code level, also extend the validity period of the profit center.

Vendor is not extended in your company code, create with reference. XK01

Profit center should be assigned to your Cost element for this particular company code.

Hi Venkat,

Please, check that vendor is created in MM module trhough tr. MK03 or centrally in tr. XK03. In addition, please, check that profit centre has been created with validity in 02.05.2012.
