Time Management Status 0 & 9


Hi Gurus,

Please put some light on the activities that we can do through TMSTA-0 & TMSTA-9.

I know both are used for Negative time management.

TMSTA-0-No time Evaluation- Employees with this status are not selected for time evaluation. They cannot therefore be processed in time evaluation. The employee’s time wage types are determined in Payroll time data processing.

TMSTA-9- Time Evaluation Of Planned Times- These employees have only the deviations from their work schedule recorded for them. The employees’ planned working times from their personal work schedule are used as the basis for time evaluation.

As per my understanding, if we have unauthorized an absence which affects the payroll then we have to go with Status-9 but if we are only capturing the absences which does not have any impact on the payroll then we use Status-0.

Here I am trying to understand what all are the different T-Codes & programs used differently for 0 & 9, Like RPTQTA & RPTIME00.What are the basic Functional & Technical Difference between the 2 status.

Please put some more light on the same.
