I have a problem in BPC 7.0 (SP8). I have about 4 years of data. In all the previous years the FY ended with a Period 13 but this year it was decided that a Period13 will not be introduced. Currentlt, there are Free Cash Flow calculations that basically work on the Movement in accounts between periods.
April data has come in now and it seems that this calculation is not working correctly. Please let me know if that will be a problem for BPC that P13 was not introduced for this year alone.
Thanks.
Hi Indu,
Karthik and Ashish have some valid points. How is the cashflow calculated again? (... It's been a while). Is it using script logic or dimension member formula's?
Can you test out the behavior in your development environment?
Thanks,
John

How are the Free flow calculations being performed, through script logic, ABAP or any business rules? Check if you are using Period 13 in your calculation, if yes, then you might have problems in the calculations.
Hope it helps!!

Hi,
This totally depends on how your BPC system is calibrated and what logics have been used to run while importing data. Please check the dependencies on P13 in any logic or business rules.
Hope this helps.
