Hello,
The equity accounts in US have a special requirement, i.e. they have to use the historical rate for each equity transaction. How is this normally handled in BPC ? I have tried going through service marketplace and also help site.
Thanks.
Hi,
We do it as follows:
for equity accounts the users enter local currency and group currency values via input schedules. We then use a specific ratetype which uses the [AS_IS] formula to keep the entered group currency value on conversion.

Arnold

Hi,
We did using FX OVERRIDE.The Equity accounts are entered using input schedules in historic rate and the Script logic with FX_OVERRIDE retains the historic rate(prevents from FX translation).
FX_OVERRIDE(%from_ovr_acc%,
%to_ovr_acc%,
%fx_diff_acc%,
%CURR%)
