Cost Centers

Hi

I want to set up some cost centers in a hierachy.

In the hierachy, i have the main compnay AB

Under AB, there 8 different branches which are HO, ACC, TEM, KUM, TAM, SUN, ZC and QW

Under these 8 branches are two subunits under these brances. These subunits under each branch are the main cost centers which form the active GL accounts in my chart of accounts. 

How do i set up these cost centers in the hierachy under cost accounting in financials

What is the role of the Dimensions in the cost accounting?

Hi,

Although there is only one level for cost center per dimension, you can use sort code to create your hierarchy. Dimension is the same as you other setup if you have use it already.
