Hi

Over in my solman system running on windows /oracle , while restarting facing an error that disp+work is getting stopped after few min. and while looking over the issue getting an error mess as follows

Have you check your environmental variables?  dbms_type = ora, same on your profile parameters  dbms/type = ora.

I have checked in my environment variables

only selective parameters been set as i mentioned below

java_home and oracle_home under the sub topic user varibles for administrator

and under sub topic system variables

oracle_sid and path  are maintained

dbms /type is not mentioned in any profile

Kindly help where to make an entry

You have problems with your TNS file...

Check your tnsnames.ora and also check SAP Note 443867 - ORA-12154 Collective SAP note

I have checked the same but doesnt  find any problem in listner as its up and running

after configuring all amd re starting the system facing the error as

Also you should have two more envirnmental variables

TNS_ADMIN =  Path to tnsnames.ora

dbs_ora_tnsname = SID

Both as user variables for <sid>adm
