Hi All
I'm getting the below error while trying to transport a query.
Error when activating element (technical id of query)
If I remove all the selection variables on the query and transport the query, it gets imported successfully. The variables I'm using are all standard variables and already being used in another queries.
Can you please let me know what other checks should I do to fix this?
Regards
Murthy
Dear Murthy,
Please refer to the below Knowledge Base Article :
1593665 - Missing Element Id when transporting query elements - "Error Activating Element xxxxxxxxxxxxx"

Hi Murthy,
Can you please check whether the following explanation helps you:
"The query (Technical id of the query) might be failing because it is inconsistent
in the imported object version 'M'. Because of the activation cannot
be performed.
Please go into the Source-System and check if you are able to
execute the query . Then please start Tx SE16 and check if element
(Technical id of the query) exists in table RSZELTDIR."
Thanks & Regards,
Sapna
Thanks All.
As suggested by Aravind, I used note 1593665 and found the missing elements. The A and M version of SAP delivered variable is somehow missing in Q system whereas available in D system.

Murthy-
One problem most of our developers experience every now and then is that neglect to collect Restricted or Calculated Key Figures separately. You see, these query elements are often not proposed by the transport workbench when you add the query or workbook to be transported.
The above notes are excellent, but this may be a simple procedural problem.

Hi,
When you collect your Query Elements in RSA1, just select the Query and Query Elements check boxes.
If you have created any new CKF/RKF for this Query, you need to select them also..
