What is PSAPUNDO tablespace in SAP BW?

Hello All,

What is PSAPUNDO tablespace in SAP BW?

Our BW database is using a lot of UNDO tablespace and I have had to enlarge it twice in 4 hours by adding 8 GB of space. It appears that something is running every 10 minutes and is not committing what it does and does not close the session. I am observing this situation once after the data base has been re-started.

This is the result of a process not issuing a commit after an insert or update command.

Please help me to find out the root cause & how to restore it?

Regards,

Bidyut
