Work center HRMS without PERNR

Hello Experts,

May I know if there is a possible way to do Work center and HRMS assignment without PERNR?

If yes, can you please provide details including the possibility of using it in Order and operations as well.

We are having HR mini master in system.. but I am not able to find IDOC or BAPI which I can use to assign PERNR to Work center.

Maheswaran - I searched the forum any how not able to find the solution.. Please suggest if you already have some pointers..

Hello,

You can do work center and HRMS assignment either with person(PERNR), positions or requirement profiles to work center.

IR02 -> Goto -> HR Assignment -> Create HR Work center (Shift + F6) -> give the object abbr

In the next screen you will find 3 assignment categories

1. Person

2. Position

3. Requirement profile

You can assign them to your work center.

Thanks for your reply. I do understand all above said, however all of them (person, position or reqt. profile)

point to PERNR in order to consume (in a order) the person assigned to the work center.

So I dont see any assignment possible without PERNR i.e.. personnel number

My requirement is to make an assignment of an external contractor who does not have a perosnnel number - PERNR. We have 3 electricians who are internal employees with PERNR and 3 or more contractors always onsite working on daily basis like the regular employee, however they dont have a PERNR. So i'm not able to make an assignment of these external contractors to my work center "Electricians"

Is there any other HR object available to assign these contractors to work centers where i can see both internal and external employees together in a order to make an assignment to order?

In this case you can make mini HR master data.which can help you for contract employee confirmation.

Hello

Assignment of Personal without PERNR number in work center not possible.

Better to create the PERNR in HR system as Temp Empolyee with Valid start date and valid end date with appropriate statuses after there expiration of work you can chenge the status of that employee in HR .
