Posting balance is not cleared (Period 01 / 2012 A) for PT

Dear Team,

While running for posting simulation the following error is coming for some emolyees.

"Posting balance is not cleared (Period 01 / 2012 A)"

Recently we have transferred these employees to new personnel area. Earlier it was fine, but after transfer this error is coming in posting.

This error is coming bcoz of Profesional Tax but the grouping details are updated for the new personnel area in PT tables.

Please suggest...

Dear Team,

This problem is solved. Entry for this new personnel area was missing in PCR IN03 - ESI,PT,LWF Cumulations based on Regions.

Dear Consultant,

You may check the "posting characteristics for symbolic accounts" for PTax Wage Type again and Slab Rates and v_t7inp1,V_7IN0P_PTX,

V_T7INP3 and  V_T7INP4.

Also check if any splits occurring in calculation of the PTax Wage Type.

Dear Govardhan,

I have checked the Posting charecteristics for symbolic account.

It is mentioned as "Positive Amounts in credit, negetive amounts in debit"  Processing type "Normal".

And as i told you there is are no changes in the recent past in tables related to slab rates by us and in Symbolic accounts and GL codes assignment. For rest of employees it is working fine, only for the transferred employees this error is coming.

Even for these employees also till 31.03.2012 there were no errors, only this month it is happening.
