Unable to proceed with rollover - error T4 103 'Decrease exceeds total amount 0.00SGD'

Hi,

We have requirement to capture certain loans in SAP without posting to FI. We have thus proceed to configure:

a. new transaction types

b. new flow types

c. new update types

d. new condition types

e. settings on set the effects of update types on position management

However, when I tried to carry out a rollover using one of the new flow type (copied from 1110), to decrease the principal amout, I encountered the error when I try to proceed to view the cashflow. The error is T4 103 with message 'Decrease exceeds total amount 0.00 SGD'. It seems to appear that the earlier loan amount is not recognized and thus cannot proceed with decrease?

Any advice?

Thanks.

    Hi Yvonne

First I would check thee existing deal if everything is correct and all the past flows are posted. If this is the case please check the amount in the current deal. The system response says that the amount you want to decrease is higher then the existing amount. Therefore also check if the decrease is not bigger.
