Hi,

We need some help with a very sepcific HTCM Sell-In scenario. We could manage to create some Sell-In records that are appearing in Table CMSD_SI. But these records are not appearing in teh 'Sell-In processing' t-code CMS_SI with the below message shown:

"Some Records have failed the authorization check".

We could not resolve through the day despite several Authorization Role assignments. Even ST01 Authorization Trace yielded no results.  We also found a relevant SAP Note (1708766) and applied the same but with no results.

Would appreciate any direction towards resolution of this issue.

Also, since I am fairly new to the HTCM, request to share any relevant config documents for the same.

Hi Vartika,

You have to maintian yourselves(your user) as an employee in the system in order to authenticate yourselves to view the Sell-in records in the transaction CMS_SI. What you need to do is attach your user to a BP and maintain yourselves as an employee there. This should resolve your problem.

I had another querry, we are configuring standard Sell-in process, where MSSI is triggered in CRM after billing in ECC. We have done necessary configurations in ECC, and the MSSI records are getting created in CRM, but with error status.

These records are having errors: Price protectable price rate cannot be zero/Price protectable price currency cannot be left blank/Price protectable price pricing unit cannot be zero/Price protectable price unit of measurement cannot be left bank

The pricing has been maintained in ECC as well as CRM, for condition type PR00. Can you please let me know if any extra configurations are required in CRM, since it seems that PR00 is not getting considered in HTCM scenarios.

Hi Leon,

The above query is resolved now and Sell-In is getting created without any errors from ECC Output type.

Now we are stuck at another issue in Price Protection. It requires VPRS (Cost Cond. Type) as a mandatory field. As per my undertanding Cost is determined in ECC from the materiual master (Cost) and hence cannot be re-determined in CRM. Even though Price Relevancy for VPRS (Cost Condition Type) is maintained in CRM for Sell-In & Price Protection, but still is not getting determined in Price Bucket or Price Protection from Sell-In records.

Could you please guide on how to determine VPRS in CRM Sell-In or Price Bucket.

Hi Vartika,

We have configured the standard Sell-iin process (OR.TAN = MSSI) and the CMSF output type in ECC is triggering the MSSI in CRM after billing in ECC. When I see the records in CMS_SI transaction all the records are in error status.

Will youi please let us know as how you got the issue resolved?
