HI, I have the work center and the Plant having the factory calender where only Monday to Thursday as work days.
However, when MRP run, i could see some planned orders having finish date on a Friday ( I an doing backward schdeuling) and also when I convert this to PP order no message was given that I have my Finish date on a Non-Working day.
I am not able to understand the issue. If i move the date to Saturday - it gives a warning message however not for friday.
Factory calender setting: Work days only from Monday to thursday.
Plant and the work center are assigned with this calender.
What could be the reason for this.
R,
Sarvan.
Dear Sarvan,
1) Please check Workdays settings with factory calendar (SCAL).
2) CR01 / 02 - Check Work Center settings with Tab Capacity - Capa. header data - Standard available capacity. What is Start and finish time u hv maintained for ur capacity category.
e.g. - If it is Start 07:00 - Finish 07:00, then system will consider Next day also.
3) Have u assign this Factory Calendar at Plant level.
Now check after run the New MRP and with following settings.

Pls revert and reward Points if it is useful.
Best Regards
Sujeet

Dear ,
Alternative solution can be make the warning messages into error .Execute Process Order Creation or Production creation -You will recieve an yellow alarm messege (CO035).Goto OPJB-Eneter the Message Type and Categoery -Change it to Error (E) .
Meanwhile check Holiday calander setup and refresh buffer again .
Thanks

Check also your work center capacities if its open. Usually even if you define Monday-Thursday working days in your calendar if you open the capacity for friday then it will create on that day.
Go to your work center, check your capacity tab, double click then check the intervals. If you see the date falls under friday. then meaning its open and possible to schedule an order.

Saravanan,
The detailed step(s) depend upon what you currently have entered for intervals right now.
Please go into the affected work center as suggested by expert Knee You, and display the capacity intervals that affect your current orders. Create a screen shot image, and insert the image here in your response.

dear,
i would also recommend to check out the Special Rules for your particaular factory calendar ( use SCAL)

Sarvan,
Assuming all the calendars are assigned as you say they are, you probably need to refresh the calendar buffer. SCAL > Extras > Update calendar buffer.
