Enhancement of Inventory cube ( 0IC_C03)

I would like to include movment type and reason for movement in this cube .

The respective fields (of MSEG table) of R/3 are BWART,GRUND.

Does it make sence to enhance the datasource 2LIS_03_BX by this fields .

I observed that these fields are avialble in Extraction structure MC03BX0.But these are not yet availble in the DS 2LIS_03_BX .

Anil Kumar

    Hi Anil,

don't ask us, if it makes sense to do this enhancement. This decision has to be done by you, based on the requirements of your business. But: If you need to report on these fields, you need to add them to the cube as well as to the infosource and the datasource. And as you mentioned, as the fields are already available in the template structure MC03BX0 you only need to maintain your datasource and reactivate the update. But before you maintain the ds you need to empty the queues for the ds and you will need to reinitialize the delta and run a new setup in case you will have the fields populated for history.

      Hi gururaj,

So It is not possible to enhance the datasource 2lis_03_bx to include fields like BWART. Isnot so?

The value of ROOSFIELD-SELECTION for this field is 'A'.

By changing this to ' ' ,canot we do stock initialization with the iformation including movement type.
