How to create Change in Pay Action.

I want to creat a change in pay for an existing employee.

Employee is hired on 01.04

Have followed same procedure like hiring action.

Defined infogroup

User group dependency

Set up personnel action

Personnel action type

Creat reasons

Change action menus

in /npa40, i selected employee, date, after all enteries it is automatically taking to basic pay...

What next?

Should i change the employee's pay and enter the date from which the change in basic pay should be effective as the start date for the personnel action.

Please help me with this.

    Before that are you practicing the configuration in system and posting the questions , Posting Basic Questions is against the forum rules that is the reason you earlier thread was rejected

    The Infoset in your Measures should be defined according to your Business Practices

    If on January 1st, new pay scales become valid for all employee, you may require a Measure that only includes IT0000 and IT0008 (because no other changes are made).

    The same would be true if employees change Pay Level at fixed intervals (ex. every year), but when there is a change of Pay Level or Pay Group because the employee finished the probation period or is given additional tasks, then you would require a Measure that would include more infotypes (such as IT0001, IT0007, IT0033, IT0041, etc.) in order to be able to capture all required information.

    Try to get the HR people involved in defining the needs.
