Dates in WBS in Project Builder

Hi Guys,

During creation of project in builder, while adding WBS to project structure, the fields in Dates tab gets greyed out in some projects, and is editable in some projects. We need to have this dates in change mode, so that client wants to have the dates filled in and schedule WBS wise.

Can anyone help why this happens and how to rectify this. Thanks in advance

Have you noticed the system status of the superior WBS elements under which you are creating new WBS elements?

Hi Amaresh,

Thanks. During creation of project using builder, the dates are greyed out. After finishing the structure and relase the project, the dates are in editable mode.

hi murthy,

check for which project profile (project definition) and project type (wbs) dates fields is not editable and then then check the config settings.

if the user are different then it is the authorization problem.

Hello Murthy,

It seems like authorization issue here. Please check if you have the activity 20 (Create actual dates) authorization be assigned to the objects C_PRPS_KOK, C_PRPS_PRC, C_PRPS_VNR, C_PRPS_ART for the user.
