Error Option Explore Career (Career Planning 3.0 SP3)

Hi Experts,

 

I´m using Nakisa 3.0 SP3, Language Package SP3 ECC 6.0

 

I have problems in Career Planning with the menu Explore Career >> Profile Matching Jobs , when I try to search the Jobs does not display information, I reviewed the Log but there is no errors, also reviewd the Explore Career configuration in Admin Console and it seems  ok

   

Do you know what is happening?

Do any jobs in the orgunit of the user exist with these competencies assigned? If not, add them or try widening your search from otuside of the OrgUnit.

Hello Luke,

I have more than one jobs with the same competencies in my OrgUnit, I tested with the other options (Other OrgUnit, Simillar Jobs, All Jobs) then  I clic on Find Match and sent a message "Search returned no records".

 

Reviewed the Log but there is no error... :S

I don´t know if is configuration, deploy of the appplication or is missing some data in ECC..Have you ever seen something similar?

Hi,

Put a breakpoint in SE37 in the function /NAKISA/RHPK_CP_JOB_MATCH and see if the correct data is being passed to the function module. This will tell you if the problem is the application or the function not returning data.

Hi Luke,

I tested the function with the following parameter ID´s Position, Competencies, Job Families, Job and OrgUnit and all the funtions returned records of data.

 

Do you think that is problem is Nakisa´s application?

Hi Aby,

Did you debu the function module using an external breakpoint? That will show if Nakisa is passing the correct information or not.

Just a quick thought, when you do the profile match are you only using competencies with the Essential Flag? If so, try to search with some that don't have this flag.

Have you set external break point in FM Luke mentioned?

You might be running FM  /NAKISA/RHPK_CP_JOB_MATCH with different user that that being called by Nakisa. Possible authorization issue.

Also, regarding the logs you mention nothing appears on logs, you might have only Errors showing, it might be useful to expand it to showing Warnings and info.
