Crystal Report Viewer 11: Double-click disabled for drill down at top level only

You can use the other methods to get past the top level (right-click, "isolate information", or using the navigation tree on the left pane). Once you are past the top level, double-click works again and the mouse over message lets you know it's working. I saw only one reference to this my search, but the respondent promptly told the guy to use his paid support, so no one else got the benefit of an answer. Is this a known bug? Is there are fix? Workaround? Thanks!

What is the exact version of CR you are using? Please see the Help About info in the CR designer.

There's no designer, it's just the viewer. Version is 14.0.2, Build r364_v20110603.

I don't understand. Where did this  "...viewer. Version is 14.0.2, Build r364_v20110603" come from? Are you using some sort of an app created by a 3rd party?

Uh, yeah. The third party is "SAP" ;-). Something tells me I may be on the wrong forum here. Anyone know of a more specific forum that deals with the SAP Crystal Report Viewer. Finding things on this website is more than a bit of a challenge. Thanks.

Is there a custom .Net application involved with the issue?

Is this happening when you view a crystal report from BI Launchpad or CMC?

If yes try http://scn.sap.com/community/bi-platform forum or Crystal Design forum

No, this is the Crystal Reports Viewer 11.0. It's a free, standalone viewer, made by SAP, that allows you to display already generated RPT files. I realize that this forum is dedicated to the .NET viewer, but I'm not having any luck finding a forum dedicated to the free viewer. It also seems odd that this product is unfamiliar to the regulars in this forum. I'm sure I must be missing something. At any rate, if anyone can point me to a forum that's specific to the free viewer, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi Steven,

You are correct, I see you also posted in the Report Design Forum. That is the correct place to be for CRV. These SDK guys think the Viewer is the part you add in an application you write as a WEB or Windows viewer...

I'll close this post.

Thanks again

Don
