Why can't user see report which is in their BI Launchpad Inbox?

I have created WebI report and scheduled two instances with the results delivered to the BI Inboxes of the members of a group with one member whom I'll call "Jane" and me. One has "Schedule only for myself" selected in the "Schedule For" section. The other has "Schedule for specified users and user groups" with the group of which Jane is a member and me selected. I can see both report instances in my BI Inbox from the BI Launch Pad. I can see the report in Jane's BI Inbox via the Central Management Console, but she cannot see the report in her BI Inbox from the BI Launch Pad.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Additionally, if I manually send the report to Jane's BI Inbox she can see it as expected.

    • I have full CMC administrator privileges. Through CMC I can see that Jane has a report in her BI Launchpad Inbox. However, she cannot see it from her perspective. One odd thing is that she can see reports that I manually send to her BI Inbox. It is those that are are scheduled to run and be delivered to her BI Inbox that she cannot see.

I have submitted a Customer Message (I think that is the right term) directly to SAP on this situation.

This issue was resolved with the assistance of SAP Support. I had to add “View objects” to the Top-Level Security for All Inboxes.

    • While your answer was correct in general terms I am still new enough to all things BI that I didn't know specifically what to do. To be clear the original issue was the non-admin users could not see items in their own BI Inbox. With the addition of the "View objects" permission can now see the items they should.

Thank you for the word of caution.
