Portal Installation

Hi,

I am going to install Enterprise portal. So for that I am installing Netweaver7.3. So my question is at the time of installation which are the usage types will be required for portal- As far as I know it will be

• Application server Java
• EP Core - Application Portal
• Enterprise Portal

I have given a screenshot below-

And any additional step required for portal after netweaver 7.3 installation? Like we used to to portal add-on in Netweaver04

Dear Supid,

Hope you are doing good.

Yes, these usage types are enough.

Once the installation is done, navigate to :http://<server>:<port>/utl/UsageTypesInfo  and check if all usagetypes are installed.

Also, after installation, it will be useful to deploy the latest patches for the core components. Please check the SAP Note 1501448 - Download Web Dynpro SCAs in NetWeaver 7.3 for more information.

Hi Supid,

Yes thats right ,

AS Java, EP and EP core are the usage type required.

You can refer to the installation guide for the post installation steps.

Installation guide is available on service market place.
