Goods movement

Hi,

I have to do goods movement from production to inventory so how shall i do that and i have not done goods movement from raw material inventory to production as i am uploading back dated material. Is it possible to do only goods movement of finished goods from production to inventory. I have made BOM , done routing ,created production order and confiramtion for the same but there are no raw materilas for the same as i cannot create PO for it as it is back dated as i mentioned earlier

Hi,

Use t.code: MIGO for goods movement of finished goods from production to inventory of finished goods WRT Production Order with 101 movement type.

Use t.code: MB1A with 261 movement type,for goods movement from raw material inventory to production area.If want reverse from production toraw material inventory , then use 262  movement type with MB1A.

As i have mentioned it earlier I cannot create Purchase order as it is back dated so i cannot do goods movement in MIGO using 101 movement. There is no movement of raw materials to production.

i hope u can use the MB1C/MIGO with movement type 521-Receipt w/o order to get material from production to inventory.

when you say raw materials, then you can use 262 directly using MIGO_GI without refering to the old document. Actually it doesnt check whether you issued the raw material before or not. so this is possible in SAP but am not sure process you're following is right.

Hi,

Though it is not the recommended procedure, you can create a production order purely for the purpose of updating FG stock. You can either delete the components to be issued from the production order and then confirm the order. This will help you to post GR without doing GI.

If that is not possible, then you can confirm the order with component shortage and then using the Error processing transaction COGI, identify and delete the 261 movements planned for the order.
