Multiple GL assignment for Transaction "KZPI" (OBYB & KALC)

Hi All,

I have one question for you all SAP expert. At the moment we have one costing sheet XXXXX where we use a percentage of 20% to calculate overhead of salary cost elements 5000006, 5000009 and 5000022. This apportionment cost overhead is calculated and posted to secondary cost element 99941500. The business wants to change this set-up, as they need to make manually corrections at month end closing each month.

They want to split the overhead percentage into:

- Pension

- Social costs

- Public traffic

- Bonuses

The overhead calculation set up requested is as follows:

- Pension e.g. 20% of cost element 5000006 only

- Social costs e.g. 20% of cost element 5000009 only

- Public traffic e.g. 5% of cost element 5000022 only

- Bonuses e.g. 9 % of cost element 5000022 only

This could be set up in a costing sheet. I see no problems in this. This as the base is defining the cost elements which are basis for calculating a certain overhead %. We can build a costing sheet where we will have more than one base keys, like mentioned above. Further the business wants to have separate secundairy cost elements for the overhead calculation. According to me this is also possible, as we can define separate secundairy cost elements per credit key. So far no issue. Distinquish between the different kind of overhead calculations can be made in CO then.

Next topic is CO-FI reconciliation. Depending on the CO transaction, the CO-FI reconciliation is made to an adjustment account. As far as I understand, we can only use one adjustment account for the CO transaction KZPI - Actual overhead (periodic). This would mean that we will loose the distinguish in overhead calculation for pension, social costs, public traffic and bonuses. Currently the whole amount of apportionment is transferred to GL account 54991900. Are there any possibilities to keep the different kind of apportionment as mentioned above in FI as well? So that we can set up CO-FI reconciliation GL accounts per kind of apportionment in the same way we will set up the secondary cost elements?

Last question is, if it is possible to allocate pension overhead to a balance sheet account directly.

Thanks in Advance. This is urgent, has anybody done this earlier.

Best Regards

Ruksana Khan

    Hi Ruksana, Salaam!

There is an option to use substitution in the CO-FI Integration Account Determination

As of now you would have specified one single GL Account over there... In OK17, you can also use a substitution... This will also provide you to write ABAP code in case of a complex logic

I never used it before, but I am aware there is such an option to trigger multiple GL Accounts
