KM Search iView - properties

Hello,

I am using TREX and the default km search iView for search.

The TREX has properties for the documents in the index. You can see them in the TREX Administrator GUI and the TREX Monitor.

Now, my question is how to search for that properties.

Do I need to customize the iView or is there a way to make the properties available for search?

In the default drop-down list there are about 5 properties, but the specific index has many more. And the ones that are interesting for me are not in that list.

Can anybody help me?

I am using SAP 6.4 SP12 and TREX 6.1 (latest version)

Thanks a lot... 😊

    Hi Eik,

for this you have to modify the search options.

To do this (or to create a new set of search options), choose System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Configuration

-> Content Management -> User Interface -> Search -> Search Options Set.

The relevant parameter for you is "Allowed Predefined Properties". Add your own properties to the Search Options Set UISearch.

    Hope this helps,

    Robert
