ALV - Copy paste issue - SAP Note

Hello,

After going through many links in this forum, i have now understood that we cannot copy paste data from excel directly into webdynpro ALV. One question regarding this, is this an issue with excel only or is it the same case when i try to copy data from a transaction in sap into the fields of an ALV.Please note, am not asking about excel but copying from sap into fields of alv.

If it is the same case, can you let me know the note number( if there any) so that i can forward the same to my client stating that this is a standard

issue?

Hi vaishnavi,

As per my understanding, copy & paste is not possible at all in web application , because web application seems dont support this feature.

Thomas sir only can give any idea abt this issue.. Thomas any idea about this issue..?
