DataSource Replication Performance (RSA13)

Does everyone have this problem?

When I replicate a DataSource the BW system takes up to 20 minutes to finish. The problem appears to be with the rebuilding of the RSA13 tree structure as far as I can tell and is not bogged down by the DB reads. It appears it might be in the ABAP behind the replication.

Is there a solution?

It appears to be taking the same amount of time from there as well. I am running the GUI 6.20 Build 584466 Patch 36 if it makes a difference.

In this case, I was replicating a specific DataSource. But, the problem exists for any replication attempt.

Hi George,

did you try to replicate it from the infosource/source system assignment? Goto the infosource, right click on the assigned source system and replicate. Does it take the same time?

Hi George,

what are you replicating? Just one or all datasources? It might be an issue with your frontend.
