Hello Swathi,
i) did you generate DDL statments in source system
Ans- I think no need to create DDL statement for Database export ,you can directly export
Please check : http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/801eba00-ec8a-2a10-eca6-c7f38bdd4d19&override...
Just Create a directory eg. EXPORT_SID and follow the procedure as per above URL
** Keep in mind that sap instance should be down and DATABASE must still be running**
While importing may be during import ABAP Phase you will navigate to below error message
ERROR 2011-05-16 13:47:06
CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103. For details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.
ERROR 2011-05-16 13:47:06
FCO-00011 The step runMigrationMonitor with step key |NW_Onehost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_CreateDBandLoad|ind|ind|ind|ind|10|0|NW_ABAP_Import_Dialog|ind|ind|ind|ind|5|0|NW_ABAP_Import|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|runMigrationMonitor was executed with status ERROR .
Solution is Just Check weather your database is Up and running if not then please keep it running
and again start installation with Continue with old installation option.
It worked for me, i hope you will also go through it.

Hi amol,
thanks for you valuable information and i please let me one more
i) you done system refresh in dual stack system ,
ii) while Exporting step, we found three steps in sapinst tool
system copy --> oracle --> source system --> central system --> based on AS abap and As Java
i) Export preparation
ii) Table splitting preparation
iii) database and central instance Export
can we directly Execute 3rd option or we need to perform 1st step and then 3rd step (i tink we can ignore 2nd step)
Regards
Hi Swathi,
Yes, You can directly take Export of Database and Central System
You can read the information about this option in right column
(after selecting database and central instance Export) , first two options are Optional
But last one is first mandatory option so you can go for it directly.
First option is for Preparation (Not Mandatory)
Second one is table splitting means you can split large table in to two (Not Mandatory)
Third option is Database and Central System (Mandatory)
Best Of Luck
