Dynamic Configuration error in SOAP sender adapter.

Hi All,

We have a SOAP to Proxy scenario and this is a synchronous interface.

In order to test the interface, we have sent a message from SOUP UI tool. The message failed in PI with below mentioned exception.

SOAPFault received from Integration Server. ErrorCode/Category: XIProtocol/WRONG_VALUE; Params: SOAP:Envelope(1)SOAP:Header(1)sap:DynamicConfiguration(4)sap:Record(16), $Version=0;

From few other blogs, the error occurs when the message has entries in dynamic configuration in adapter namespace with name length or value length greater than permitted length.

And the advice is to use the DynamicConfigurationBean module with Name Length: 50 and Value Length: 200.

I am not able to understand how the Dynamic Configuration parameter value is prepared by the system. Please explain.

Thanks.

    Hi,

    You can check the sxi_monitor (assuming that you have already switched on sync messages logging) to see what is the exact value of this dynamic configuration attribute that causes the error. This might be help you determine the source of this problem. Also, are you using any adapter modules in the sender SOAP communication channel?

    Hope this helps,

    Greg

    You might have already seen this link where you can specify the max length of the namespace and the document says if you exceed the max specified value the remaining value will be ignored.
