Hi experts,
when I see the data in the cube, it shows multiple records for one order number, can anyone explain the reason?
What is the problem? How could I get the unique record for each order number? It is in SAP PS module. Is there
any non-cummulative?
regards,
Shahid.
Hi,
As explained above by venkat infocube stores records by request number.
The records are stored in f-fact table of the infocube in requested wise.
Compress ur cube so that all the records are aggregated and stored in e-fact table of the cube.

Hi,
Yes you can.
The first benefit is it improves the query performance, if we have many changes recorded (for the same document) through several requests. By compressing, all these multiple records will be summarised into one single record and thus becomes easy.
However, once compressed, we cannot delete individual requests, if we have any problems identified within one or more of the compressed requests. This will be a big concern, if you are expecting to correct data errors in individual packets.
Check these docs...

Hi
Info Cube stores data in request basis.
Say i got one sales order 100 with quantity 30 today.
tomorrow i got sames sales order 100 with added quantity 20.
This record will not get aggregate as the sales order number is same.
Because request number also key filed in Info Cube unless you compress the requests.

Venkatesh
