BI XI 3.1 Conditional Hiding of Breaks


Sometime when the user runs a report there is only one value for the break, and thus your break total will be the same as you grand total, can you set a condition to hide the break in that case? This way the users does not have to create two versions of the same report.

    Create one variable Var1 like.=count(Column B) foreach column A

    Create alerter with condition Var1=1 then go to the format and set as ="" and border as none.

    Apply this alerter in the all break column so when count is one then this alerter show the row as blank with no border.
