How does on demand replication option works in SAP SLT

Hi Experts,

I'm facing issues in SLT replication. 5 days back i have replicated a sap table using SLT tool and after replication validated data count it was okay. But when i'm checking now data count, few records are missing which are created in source system after replication. I can see delta records in log table in source system.

i was checking the cause for this then i saw in my SLT configuration, system replication option is set to on demand(check the image)

. Could any body explain what is this option ? and how does it work, I mean with this option how can i replicate the delta in to target system?

And is their any way to change it to real time mode ?

if i change it to real time mode, what are the problems i may face because most of the tables i replicated and now i have very less time for replicating the delta. I have checked latest SLT configuration guide no where find about on demand options.

SLT version details - DMIS2011_1_731, support level - 0011, support package - SAPK-11611INDMIS
