Solution Manager 7.1 Basic Config Migrate Diag Relevant Flags Error

I am on Step 5 (Configure Automatically) of the Basic configuration. Every step has completed successfully except for the "Migrate Diag Relevant flags".

I am getting this in the error log:

Error occured. Log: SLG1 object 'AI_LMDB', subobject 'MIGRATION', external id 'LMDB_LDB'.

So I went to SLG1 and the log had 5 errors that are similar to this:

No Product Instance PL:01200314690800000134 PV:01200615320900001250 PI:3 found in CR Content.

How do I get passed this error?

ANSWER:

Josh pointed me in the right direction.  Our SLD is setup on our Solution Manager and the Component Repository hadn't been updated in a long time.

With some searching I found Note 669669 - Updating the SAP Component Repository in the SLD

After I followed this note and upgraded the SLD Content Repository to the newest version I was able to get passed this error.

What products / releases besides Solution Manager are registered against the SLD? Have you updated your SLD content (cimsap and crdelta's) during post installation for your local SLD to make sure the CR content is up to latest?

Josh

Hi Neil,

You may have systems in SMSY that are still not migrated to LMDB, since they are not available in SLD which needs to be migrated via Solman_Setup where there is a button to migrate individual systems from SMSY to LMDB so that you can make LMDB identical to SMSY.

Also make sure that you have assigned product & product version for all systems in Header Data in SMSY too.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Hugo
