Move Nametab Finished with Return code 0

Hi All,

Our Upgrade has stuck Solman 7.0 to Solman 7.0 ehp1 upgrade has stuck and I have found that logs in the Drive:\usr\sap\trans\log\ALOG1217.SID

WARNING: \\hostname\sapmnt\trans\tmp\

SAPKKB70108.SID is already in use (10), I'm waiting 1 sec (20120424085331). My name: pid 3900 on hostname (APServiceSID)

and I can see this message thousand times with different waiting times.

Need help!!!!

WARNING: \\hostname\sapmnt\trans\tmp\SAPKKB70108.SID is already in use

Rename the file and try it again

Hi Juan,

After renaming the file it has crossed that stage and has moved to MAIN IMPORT finished with returncode 0 and stuck again over here also, but when I am checking ALOG1217.SID file it shows

ERROR: RFC function TRINT_PROGRESS_INDICATOR returned 18.

and the message has changed to

WARNING: \\hostname\sapmnt\trans\tmp\

ALOG1217.SID.LOC is already in use (10), I'm waiting 1 sec (20120424085331). My name: pid 3900 on hostname (APServiceSID)

Waiting for a help.

You must have a tp process hanging in limbo, kill the PID holding the .LOC file, then remove the .LOC file and continue.

Thanks for your reply.

We tried killing the process and also took complete system restart and trigerred the import once again, but we can see the same error with some other files.

It is now in phase MAIN IMPORT

The logs are as follows:

SAPKKW70108.SID is already in use (60), I'm waiting 3 sec (20120424163405). My name: pid 6904 on hostname (APServiceSID)

And the waiting message continoues like that.

Just remove the files related to the EHP1 update from the tmp directory. I guess this happen because the process was stopped before.
