confirmation numbers updating even though confirmation is not created for the shopping cart

Hello All,

we are into SRM 7.0 classic scenario, and ECC 6.0.  created a shopping cart in Quality system, PR has been created in the backed quality system, PO has created. till this point everything is fine. as soon i create the PO in the backend system, in SRM SC related document tab, the confirmation number is updating even though the confirmation is not created.

When we analyzed the issue, we found that system is updating the PO from Production system. we checked all the customization settings everything looks fine, but this is a serious issue. can any one through lights on this issue.

Hi Santosh,

I hope ALE port selection is pointing wrong. Check the ports info in WE21 (both ECC & SRM systems), This is mainly because of port only.

Alternatively, also check with BASIS for the following info.

Did basis team ran the BDLS in both SRM & ECC? Run the BDLS in ECC and SRM by selecting old lgoical system and new logical system names.

Thanks for the response, checked with basis team and found that ports are pointed towards, quality system only.

BDLS is also successfully run. dont understand where exactly is the problem.

Hello All,

This is because, in SMOEAC transaction the site address is RFC destination is referring to Production system. we have changed the RFC destination to corresponding logical system and it is working fine.
