OMA import of Master Agreement

Hi,

I am facing 3 issues while import/export scenario.

1.) I have tried to move different documents (like project, auction, RFx, master agreement ) from one server to another with same configurations.Except Master Agreement all went successfully. While exporting a Master agreement, the exported OMA has all the relevent data with 2 objects in it, but while importing the same .oma file of this MA to another server, I am facing an issue.

The import engine shows that the import is successfull but there is no MA created in the system. The import for the 2 objects from the export.oma is empty. The system says that import is successfull with 0 objects imported and no error is thrown by the system or in the trace file.

2.) Few of the documents in project, auction, rfx are not getting exported sucessfully. In the export engine, when I add one of the projects as a single object, and start creating an export object, the export process gets completed but has no data/no export objects in it.That means , the export.oma file is not generated.

3.) In one of the scenarios, I need to delete the document links for few of the documents before exporting, but for a few of the documents am unable to delet some links while others get deleted.

Please help to understand the reasons behind these issues.!!

Thanks,

Vaishali Soni

    Hi Vishali,

Export of business documents (projects, rfx, auctions, ma) via oma is not supported. Even though the import may appear to be working, you may see some inconsistencies. OMA should be used for migrating configurations, reports, scripting, workflows, etc.from one Sourcing landscape to another.
