SAP Authentication in CMC BO 4.1

Hello, We are using SAP BO 4.1 Sp6.

We are looking to publish BO reports to EP portal.

Currently, when we click on the BO user tab in EP, it opens the login page of BI launch pad. How do I setup the authentication of EP portal in CMC? I am getting an error currently, when I try to do it -

Connect to SAP gateway failed Connection parameters: TYPE=A DEST= (further details) SYSTEM CALL connect ERRNO 79 ERRNO TEXT Connection refused COUNTER 17

SSO to CMC is not always desirable, but if you have setup EP SSO per KBA 1701240, then you actually have the patch where SSO to the CMC was added for the 1st time.

KBA 2190831, the options would be

• sso.types.and.order=sapSSO
• sso.supported.types=sapSSO
• authentication.default=secSAPr3

To note no one has tried this and the option was added for AD SSO so uit may not work as expected, but from a theoretical point of view this is how it should work.
