Crystal Reports XI R2 SP3 -- connecting to Salesforce

Hi

I have CR XI R2 SP3 installed and we are trying to connect to salesforce.com We do have many such reports and several tables are displayed. But recently salesforce upgraded their API to 24 ($#@ ??) so a few tables suddenly are not displayed. This could be because of permissions but it could also be because my version of CR is connecting to probably an older default API ? Any suggestions. SAP Doesnt support XI R2 anymore and I am stuck 😔 I am the admin/architect here and we are awaiting an upgrade soon so I do NOT want to install any SP4 or SP5 for this existing XIR2 version of crystal. Please share your thoughts.
